Skills
For the past 11 years I have been working in the audio industry in the Los Angeles area. My experience in the film and television industry has led to the acquisition of a wealth of post-production knowledge, including procedures for M&E creation, HD and SD tape machine operation, film standards, and editing techniques for soundtrack restoration. My past experience in large music studios required a commanding knowledge of large format recording / mixing consoles including Neve VR series, SSL 9000J and 4000G+, as well as Studer and Ampex analog tape machines, and DA-88 and 3348 digital machines. As a freelance engineer I have invested in a ProTools HD3 Accel system (v8 software), with Sonic NoNoise restoration software, Waves Plug-ins, and a 5.1 Active KRK surround sound monitoring system. I am an Apple Final Cut Pro 7 (Level 1) certified editor. I operate an FTP server for client file transfers, and have experience with various PC and Mac programs including Word and Excel, as well as general computer trouble-shooting skills.
